Would RecommendI started using amdro because it's the only one I found safe to use around horses. I use a spreader about every 3 months so my whole yard is covered and I have little to no issues with fire ants. When I mow I keep some in a container with me to treat any hills I come across and I have yet to have any problems when my grandkids are playing in the yard.

Would Not RecommendThis stuff doesn't work. I've used almost a whole bottle of it and all the ants are doing are moving from one part of the yard to the other it's not killing them it's not getting rid of the mounds it's just making the situation worse.
