What Customers Are Saying
The diesel fuel can has a flawed design that makes it challenging to use. The short spout nozzle, weak actuating handle, and difficult safety switch cause frequent spills and messes. The non-vented can also results in slow, uneven fuel flow, requiring the user to hold the can in awkward positions. While some found the can durable, the overall consensus is that it is a poorly engineered product that should be avoided in favor of higher-quality alternatives.

You have to hold the nossel back for the gas to pour out which can be very difficult especially if it has 2 or more gallons.

Fuel can
Holding full fuel can-5 gallons-and turning unlocking to get fuel to pour takes about 3 hands to get the job done. A bit cumbersome to use.

DIESEL CAN
Would RecommendVery well built. Didn't leak when transported. I would buy another if I needed another.

Good Can
Would Recommendi like everything about the can but the spout. It's too small for the way i use the can (to refuel my tractor), so i just use the main opening without the spout attached. It's a little awkward taking the spout out and putting it back in everytime, but not too much trouble. It would be better (for my purpose) with a bigger diameter spout.

Good can
Would RecommendGreat diesel can; spout works well and you don’t need a degree to figure out how to use it.

This Spout is the Worst
Would Not RecommendTank is fine, the spout is the worst. The safety doesn't work well and is very hard to use without spilling.

Should have read reviews
Would Not RecommendThis thing leaks fuel everywhere. Used the spout it came with, it leaked. Bought a funnel to pour fuel into a smaller can, it splashes all over the place. The old spout these companies used to sell worked fine, go back the "non-spill proof" spouts".
Don't buy
Would Not RecommendCouldn't get the cap tight enough to stop fuel from leaking. Also the safety features make it very hard to use and very slow pore. We spilled more fuel with this can than we would have with a normal open spout. So much for the saving the planet.
nozzle is nightmare. very difficult to pour into pipe opening.

Diesel
Would RecommendThe fuel can itself works great. The part that I don't like is the way the release is on the pouring spout. It is difficult to operate when the can is on the fill of the fuel tank. Also the pouring spout will not support the weight of a full can and can release fuel on the ground.

A disaster
Would Not RecommendI've spilled more fuel with these containers than with anything else. They are dangerous, hazardous to the environment and should be banned. Is anyone listening?????
It does work, but...
Would Not RecommendRead the other reviews. They're all true. Terrible design, hard to use, slow dispensing, leaking, etc. But I figured out how to use the dang thing out of dire necessity as it was 11 degrees and by gosh I was going to add emergency diesel to my home heating oil tank (yes, its the same stuff). the nozzle is problematic, but I figured out that you had to squeeze and jam the black safety thing down first, then stuff the nozzle into the fill pipe, holding the black safety thing down. My gosh it ...
No good
Would Not Recommend"Safety" nozzle leaks significantly. Pours WAY too slow.
Gas Can
Would Not RecommendI do not like the filler nozzle. I have to hold the can upside-down in order to fuel my tractor and all the time holding the small hook against the rim of the fuel tank. Give me a fuel can with a flexible nozzle and a vent port any day.
