Would Not RecommendLowes web site states that the 4' stakes are 0.75 in thick and they looked like they are only 0.5 in so i measured them and they are 0.66 in. that's a 12% difference!

Would RecommendI saw a review that said "breaks when pounding in ground". I took a large screwdriver and hammer and started a pilot hole knowing these were a little fragile. Thy are NOT like survey stakes, they will break. After the screwdriver I took a rather large pry bar to dig the dirt out of the pilot hole. Stake went in, no problems. My Dahlias are standing tall and proud. I bought two 4' and 2 6' stajes. I needed another 4' stake so I cut the 6' stake down and made the end pointy. Plants love them.
