Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally effective at filling gaps and holes, especially in larger openings, and has fire-retardant properties that allow it to expand significantly. However, some users reported issues with controlling the nozzle, the foam continuing to expand after application, and the product not being approved for certain fire-rated applications. The product can also be messy and difficult to clean up. Overall, the product is useful for many home improvement tasks, but users should exercise caution with the amount used and ensure it is appropriate for their specific application.

Fireproof insulation
Would RecommendIt’s pretty much the same as the regular foam insulation. I used it to seal small gaps around an outdoor grill.

Keep a steady speed.
I haven't reached the stage where i need to use the foam yet, but I've used similar products in the past without an issue. When installing, be sure to keep a steady speed and steam to avoid minor air pockets during expansion.

Caulk gun or this...
Would RecommendThis is SO much easier and faster than the caulking type fire block. And actually kind of fun.

Just what I needed
Would RecommendBought this to seal a bathroom vent/heater. I wanted flame resistant qualities because of the heater. Was able to effectively seal around the vent from the attic side. The long nozzle was very helpful. I had a little clean up on the room side due to expansion of the foam but I expected that. Hint: clean up soon after application because once it sets you have to scrape it off.

Fire block
Would Not RecommendAlthough the product did work. I will probably stick with fire caulk. The expanding foam was difficult to to seal pipes.
