What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the adhesive's strong, versatile bonding across fabric, foam, wood, and metal, with many reporting reliable performance over decades. However, a notable portion struggle with overspray and uneven dispersion, requiring extensive masking or ventilation. Several users report formula changes causing white residue, persistent tackiness, and reduced effectiveness on certain materials. Despite these application challenges and concerns about the new nozzle design, most customers still consider it effective for general bonding tasks, though some recommend alternatives for detailed work.

I am very impressed with this glue- my only ask is - do you have non-spray alternative? am glueing paper to a foam board and for very small pieces (model making) the spray is very messy to use. any suggestion?

Spray Adhesive
Would RecommendProduct worked great when used on my car liner, quick drying, only wish it came in a smaller can for the small jobs that people have.
Spray 77 adhesive a must have tool
Would RecommendGood morning all: I’ve used spray 77 for the past twenty plus years. I use it to position and secure fabric when sewing. I also use it to position and secure a variety of other materials. It’s bond, though secure, is not permanent. Spray 77 does not leave your surface or edges with a milky film. Must use in a ventilated area.
First time user. Used to apply vanier on eight jewelry boxes I am making. Works good.
pH level
I am testing this out with several other adhesives. Yours and a couple others are working very well. You mentioned that the pH level is very low in a previous reply. On the pH scale, very low (~1) is battery acid. What is the specific/actual pH of this adhesive.

I noticed the new design on the can about 2 months ago but it seems along with that came a new formula- I glue papers together with this product and have been using it for years but now in the last 2 months the glue is not holding. The papers are coming apart- unhappy customer!!!

I'll never buy this product again
Would Not RecommendI used to use this formula a lot in uoholstery work, but never again! expensive and kept falling apart when used on foam, I would imagine EPA has had something to do with the formula not being as good as it used to be.
Great for insulation
Would RecommendI used 3M "77" in my attic insulation project. I was adding more insulation to the existing. I have cathedral ceilings in my home and the insulation is vertical in the attic. Used this to adhere the new insulation batts to the old. So far it seems to be working well. I sprayed both new and old insulation and it immediately stuck together. It has been 10 days in 90 degree + heat outside, so attic was over 100 degrees and nothing has fallen. I even used it to spray the sides of the batts to create...
