Would RecommendI filled a large hole (6-8 cm diameter) and several smaller ones I admit that I used a backer board for the large hole. No matter how you cut it (pardon the pun), this high strength fiber repair material worked like a charm. It did take about 16 hours to harden, but I don't consider that to be a problem when filling such a large hole in my plasterboard.
