SO FAR SO GOOD
Would RecommendTwo years old and no problems. I do use the deep-water feature on all loads. It does make some noises like valves opening and closing, but it is in laundry room and we do not hear it outside of that room. It may be very loud to some if set up in living room by TV or in a bedroom. My last Maytag washer lasted 22 years. If I get half that I will have won.

I did not realize for a good while that the level of water that the machine used was not getting high enough to properly clean clothes. At first I just started using deep water wash, but that didn’t work. Then I tried adding more water to make the load heavier (hoping it would add more water to cover the clothes) and also putting it on bulky items to see if that would help but nothing ha...

Not Happy
Would Not RecommendI'm 66 and have bought Maytag everytime I needed a Washing Machine. My parents bought Maytag Washing Machines. The first issue I had when washing is that after the wash cycle, it doesn't move to ne next cycle. I just sits there, and you have to hit the cancel button and start all over and then it runs all the way through. Second think which just started is that when on the wash cycle you hear a grinding loud grinding noise when washing and rinsing.

Want it to fill with more water
Would Not RecommendI definitely don't like this machine, it doesn't fill up and clothes don't get clean. Ever since day one I have to wash my husband's work clothes at least twice. He doesn't even get that dirty. Just maybe a little extra dirt

Water level sensor unsatisfactory

No bueno, constantly stalling
It seemed to be fine for the first two years, then now we basically can not put too much clothes or too much weight in it as it will not finish cycle. Already had it serviced sand I guess the machine just doesn’t hold heavy loads well. I thought since Maytag it would do well for a rental but disappointed with washer.

Disappointing
I bought Maytag because of its reputation but I’m so unhappy with this washer. There is a clicking when you first turn it on that seems to go on FOREVER before the actual wash cycle starts. It’s so annoying. Also, I like to be able to open the lid during the fill cycle so I can use the flowing water to rinse my detergent cup but you can’t. I really hate that. The dryer is fine but I wish the light would go out after a few minutes of the door being left open. Sometimes water accumulates and ...

Poor water levels
I have had top loaders for 40 years. This machine barely puts water in. Poor water level. Sometimes have to wash the load twice. Does agitate. Also the upper inside rim is losing all the paint. Disappointing

Crappy new styles dont fill
this washer cant compete with the old fashioned test of time...well the government changed everything to garbage. washer does not deep fill, maybe 4 inches? i laughed at my friend who bought a used old style washer. wow, im jealous, it fills up high, in about 4 minutes. i hate the washer i bought. i have to lug buckets of water to wet my clothes so they are not DRY CLEANED ! HAHA
