We bought this flowering plant to use as attractive ground cover around the pool area.

Color color

I was looking for a plant to add some color that would be a bit of a spreader and the purslane works really well. I have several colors now and I particularly love the pinks and the oranges !

Purslane

So beautiful. Surely a plant for Florida. Blooming since I bought it. Wish I had gotten more.

We planted these in an area of partial sun, they are doing great and completely fill in the border of our front flower bed

Reed Orchids are beautiful!

One of the easiest orchids to grow! Wonderful happy little blooms. I water twice a week in a fast draining soil and sit back and watch the flowers bloom!

Not thriving

This plant was purchased from the clearance rack and I knew that it needed to be repotted, watered, and fertilized. After doing all of this, it perked up for one day and then hasn't since. I hope that it will start to improve but seriously doubt it.

Persian Shield

This is a beautiful, sturdy plant. I re potted it and it took off with growth. I read where this plant is hard to find and hard to grow but not here. Good for part shade and nice potted in pots

Very pretty

I bought these on clearance cause one of the gentleman that works there said they come back year after year and I only buy perennials. So far they are doing great the flowers are extremely pretty,I will trim them up to keep them small though cause according to my research they can get big. I recommend these they have some very pretty flowers!

Beautiful Persian Shield Plant

Must be watered every other day I found out. I forgot to water it on the 3rd day and I THOUGHT they were Both DEAD!! I watered them and the next morning they looked like NEW again!! I'm TRYING this "GREEN" Thumb thing as we LOVE plants, but can KILL them very easy especially here in Florida!

Good start

I repotted it into a larger pot. It's only been a week but so far so good. I needed a plant that would/should do well in the shade and these purple leaves are a nice spot of color and contrast in my Florida green jungle.

Moderately priced and easy to grow

Given plenty of sunshine and watered frequently, this plant offers lots of sky-blue blooms and will bloom the year round if not frozen out. Always bounces back if the winter knocks it down. Makes a great hedge.

2.5 -quart Strobilanthe

Just planted it under a tree in the front yard. Had several good rains and looks like it is doing well.

These have added that little extra punch to a flower bed I created where grass wouldn't grow. Have been getting compliments from the neighbors.

Healthy Adoption

I always watch for the marked down price for distressed plants. For only a dollar, I purchased a big plant that I took home to repot. It is growing and very healthy.
