Would Not Recommend10% manure. did a comparison of this against the well-known yellow-bag mushroom compost and cow manure filling in thinning spots in my St Augustine lawn. All came out of the bag a deep, organic, brown. However, this product sun-bleached into grey wood chips within 3 days. The other two products are still deep brown 2 weeks later.

I have been gardening for over 30 years here in Central Florida. In Florida you need to supplement the soil because of the sand if you plant directly in the ground. I have never had a problem with Cowabunga till this year. My garden is 50 ft x 50 ft, always lush and green and produces very well except for this year.
