Everyone should have a garage door opener!

My 2 garage door openers were fried due to a lightning strike. So, I went to Lowes to purchase Craftsman garage door opener. I've always had Craftsman GDO's. and I wanted to stay with Craftsman. The installer did an excellent job, and it looks like he's done that many times before!

It runs very quiet and smoothly.

Reputation, was not too difficult to install but had difficulties in pairing both the wall mount and remote controls. Had to contact tech support twice. First time it worked for 3 days. Contacted support he couldn’t help. He wanted me to take the cover off the motor to see if it had a backup battery. Then he left me hanging so I hung up. Contacted support again and this person helped me get the controls paired.

Good quiet chain drive opener at great price!

It is pretty quiet for a chain opener. Pretty straight forward with assembly. There are times during assembly that it helps to have another person. Not very heavy at all but a bit awkward for a single person. We were pretty fortunate to be just replacing the opener so the rails and such were already there. Craftsman garage opener and installation

We like the trusted name of Craftsman. The Craftsman garage is so quiet. We had the very BEST two installers come to our home and install. They were right on time and did an excellent job. We will be sure to shop more at the Lowe's in Shakopee, MN

Program the travel

I replaced an old craftsman with this new one. I can not get the travel program to work. I go thru the steps but the wall switch does not work. I have repeated the steps multiple times but in the end it still does not work.

Stay away from Chamberlain

The unit required 4 phone calls to for assistance sine the doorbell switch would not operate the opener. They finally decided to send me a new one….it has been 7 days and now they are telling me 4 more days….don’t ever buy a GDO from Lowes made by Chamberlain. Chamberlain customer service is horrible.

Don’t order opener and install from Lowe’s

When I ordered the opener on 11/5 it showed an install date of 11/13 and gave three time slots for order of preference. However on 11/11 I got a text saying my install date was scheduled for 12/30. I tried calling the number provided and left a message. I tried calling again the next morning, no answer no call back. Finally had to get someone via a chat bot and their only response was 12/30 was the first available and they don’t provide their schedule to Lowes. When I called Lowe’s to ask w...
