We have had no problems as of yet. I have now one huge wall left to paint and I think I am going to try a different company, maybe Ben Moore.

Touch-up paint

I used the last of my paint earlier this year and Lowe’s was able to provide me with the exact same color.

Great paint. Washes well. Good coverage after 2 coats.

Valspar Paint

After about 20 years, it was time to repaint the walls. Throughout this house, every room that has been repainted was painted with Valspar Signature paint, and for good reason. This is an older house, and the walls have been repaired over the years many times (mostly from screw holes, nail holes, etc.), and Valspar Signature hides these imperfections quite well.

Poor quality

We bought this paint for a small bedroom. It did a poor job of covering after the first coat. Even though it was a small room, it took the entire gallon for the first coat. Very disappointed. We also painted a second small bedroom of the same size with Sherwin Williams paint. That paint covered beautifully with one coat and took only half of the can. Would not recommend this paint. We will go back to using Sherwin Williams or Behr only.

Valspar paint

I absolutely love this paint. I like that you can wipe it down with a wet cloth and it still looks good. I love that it has anti scuff shield too!

Attention all DIY painters

This is a DIY friendly paint. Professional painters can apply a lesser cost product and obtain excellent results. However, DIY, beware. You are not painting everyday. Buy this product. It has excellent hiding properties. One coat will produce very good result. A lighter second coat is easier to apply and in my opinion, gives a richer finish and well worth the extra effort. Also remember, you are not paying for paint labor. Treat yourself to the best.

Inconsistent viscosity

Bought 4 gallons of Valspar Signature flat interior paint on Memorial weekend. I’ve used about tow gallons so far in my master bedroom walls, I’m covering two year old builders grade paint. Anyway, I saw a huge difference between the two gallons I used so far. One was very thick and the second was like water. The coverage for the thick gallon was spotty on a textured wall, it will require a second coat. I’ve painted many of my homes with PPG, Gliden, Sherwood Williams, and Behr paints to n...
