The Formula as Probably Changed
Would Not RecommendI think the formula has changed for the dark base in Valspar. I have used these products(Signature) from Valspar for about 15 years and I love them. However, the last two times I have used the dark base, the consistency has been watery and requires more paint for the same coverage(two coats or more). Last year, with the same exact color, it covered in one coat. I am seriously considering changing brands.

Would Not RecommendEvery house we have lived in we use flat paint. We bought 7 gallons of flat paint at lowes. After painting it had a sheen to it and our painting contractor said it looked more like an eggshell. The coverage was terrible. We bought two more gallons because the coverage was bad. Colored water
Would Not RecommendI have used this product for years. Nice, creamy consistency. This paint separated in hours and required continuous mixing. It pours like water and the coverage was the worst I have ever experienced. The mixed color was perfect. The rest leaves a lot to be desired for this Valspar product. Very disappointed.
