Repainted entire house indoor

I recently purchased a home that the previous owner was a smoker. After cleaning all crown molding, trim and cabinets I sealed all existing painted surface with Kilz. Then I repainted house using vallspar signature flat. This is a great paint that provided the texture and look I was hoping for in the beginning of this endeavor. This paint goes on smoothly, cleans up easily, and has no odor. It did a good job and I will buy it again.

Like painting with water

Doesn’t cover anything. Thought I could paint pink over light green and it took 3 coats. Next room thought it was the color and I couldn’t even get dark navy blue to cover light grey. So disappointing and a waste of a whole day. You can see every paint roll

Good paint for the price

There are a lot of options out there for paint.. whether you want to spend the money and be one-coat and done, or do multiple. We typically go with this paint, the price is fair and the quality is fair. We typically have to do 2 coats, but we would probably do 2 coats either way regardless of the quality of paint. We have never used the more expensive kind where you 'should' only have to do 1 coat.. we have been happy with the Valspar Signature Flat Latex Paint.

NOT FLAT!

I bought 4 gallons of this paint to paint my dining room dark. The first two we didn't like the color because it brought out all of the imperfections in the walls, and there was a definite sheen to it. We went back to the store and picked another color telling the gentleman that we wanted the flattest of the flat paint there is, and he insisted that this is the flattest. Get home and repaint the room, and there is more of a sheen. This paint is not flat! I have paint from Home Depot on my walls,...

This is high quality paint. It goes on smooth and even. It looks awesome. It is not cheap but the quality is worth it.

Best paint for the money

I have painted with a lot of different paints and love Valspar Signature. Hands down the best one coat coverage for the money. Large variety of colors to pick from and the paint wears over time very well. Highly recommend this paint.
