Beautiful color went on a used vanity beautofully

I bought this because it's 100% water based acrylic paint which is what I was looking for. I bought a used table & chairs which was painted with oil paint & the chairs were black. i wanted to paint them white. I do not like to paint with oil paint. my biggest complaint is that the paint is thin so it wants to run so you have to be careful to catch the runs before they dry & the front of the can needs to say 100% acrylic paint because its sits next to cabnet paint at lowes that is oil paint. the ...

Horrible paint

This paint is like a white wash. It does NOT coat anything with three coats of paint.

Definitely buy a bigger can for larger projects

I like how it goes on smoothly and dries fast.

I have painted my cabinets (in different homes) 5 times with a cabinet paint from an orange store and have got good results. I love my local Lowes (Naperville) so i tried this with two different sets of cabinets. The first set was dark grey and i was painting emerald green. It took 2.5 coats. I bought the cabinet paint in white. I thought it would be good paint for my vanity. It was expensive, but in the past I found expensive paint actually was cheaper because you didn't have to use as much paint. I sanded, cleaned, and primed the vanity. The paint was a bit thin and required multiple coats, which is taking forever because the paint never seems to dry. It says you can apply the 2nd coat in 2 hours, but it is still tacky. Terrible Paint

The paint is hard to use compared to other brands from paint stores. Difficult to get a good finish. The paint is also not durable at all. We painted a table and chairs with 1 coat primer and 2 coats paint. The paint is already wearing off after just a few months of very light use (1 time per week max). We let the paint dry for several days and it still was tacky to the touch for over a week. The only good thing about this paint is the color palette is nice.

Easy to apply

I love this paint. It is easy to apply, long workable time. I used the color Iron Ore and covered cabinets in two coats. Highly recommend for the DIY.

I am a loyal SW fan and have helped family and friends paint some kitchen cabinets over the years. However, I did a lot of research on cabinet paint for a recent kitchen remodel and was impressed by the dry time on this magnolia paint. It is made by Killz and drys in half the time of anything else available. I bought a quart to try it out and it went on very smooth as I brushed it on with a 4” velour roller from Lowe’s.
