Uneven finish

I purchased this paint on sale to refinish a table. The paint immediately made bubbles while loading the foam roller. It left roller makes and large bubbles on the table. Assuming the bubbles would eventually even out I left it to dry. The bubbles never evened out so I had to sand and start again, the only way to get the finish somewhat smooth was to use a brush for application. Very frustrating. Ridiculous soft after two days. Not curing, not even in the paint tray- terrible paint! Never again.

Won’t mix and too thick

The paint never mixed properly, no matter how much it was stirred or shaken. The paint was very thick and streaky when applied. Not worth the price

Paint did not harden after 10 days (per the description, it should harden in 7). Lowe’s would not refund in store as the paint had been used. The website description is inaccurate and portrays this paint as higher quality than it is—I’ve used hardier Crayola paints. The Magnolia paint did not level out and had light coverage. It wouldn’t be worth the time or frustration if it was free.

Paint runs too easily

I had trouble with this paint creating drips and runs on vertical surfaces. I tried doing very thin coats to cut down on the drips but I still had to watch closely for 20 minutes or so in order to flatten out the drip marks. Since the paint dries fairly quickly, you can end up with a bigger mess if you try to get the drips out too late. Even with all caution, I had one drip that dried before I found it.

Diassapointing for the price

I worked tirelessly to strip and sand kitchen cabinets; I still needed 3 coats of this paint to ensure a consistent look, and some areas could have used more. Unfortunate as the name is an indication of high quality, but the look and feel of this paint didn't cut it for me. Shave $25 of the priece then maybe.

disappointed to say the least

I had high hopes because I'm a fan or Joanna Gaines but this paint is impossible to work with. Dries way too fast making it difficult to blend out roller marks. I was determined to make it work so I did the best I could with painting my kitchen cabinets. I ordered a quart size can because I ran out and only had a couple of doors left to paint. Don’t listen to the reviews!

I watch their show all the time and was excited to try the paint out but after reading all the negative reviews I decided not to try until my daughter wanted her dresser painted and went with me to pick her color. Well she saw the paint and wanted it because she watches the show with me. I’m glad she picked it out! Contrary to the reviews it worked excellent for me. Absolute waste of time!!

I painted a cabinet and a week later the paint peeled off on the edge when I brushed past it. It was so easy that I decided to rub my thumb over it to see if it was going to do this everywhere and it did. The paint went on so thickly that I thought maybe I had just over done it so I took it off, sanded the cabinet and painted again. Same thing. Such a waste of time and money.
