Great

This paint has no odor, goes on smooth even with a traditional brush, dries hard, and you can use Sherman Williams colors. It is much more scratch resistant then the velspar I tried.

Easiest paint I have ever used

Unclear why some have had issues. I used to to refinish cabinets and the finished product looks professional. yes, it dries to a chalk-like feel, but a few easy passes with a polishing sanding block (1000 grit) and the surface is as smooth as new.

If you are looking for a great brand magnolia

Paint was nice i like the It's a like over cost but leave my cabinets looking good. Also i love the colors

Wonderful coverage

The paint was easy to apply, and was beautiful after one coat. I added a second coat only to ensure even coverage, but the color is a pictured and came out better than I could have hoped. A little goes a long way, so I have enough left over for a second project if wanted.

Not Satin

This paint is not Satin!!! It came out like chalk paint where it needs another coat of a glaze!!! Horrible. We did not pick this out we wanted valspar. The employee told us to use the magnolia paint instead. Horrible waste of money in a bad economy

Not worth buying

Galapagos did not come in satin. The employee guided us to this paint. It is horrible to work with and scratches easily after drying for days. We had to go around with a loaded brush to do touch ups. Will not buy again nor will we recommend to anyone.

Excellent paint, pretty color

I purchased this paint in the semi-gloss and my vanity looks incredible! The paint covered well (I primed and sanded first) and you can hardly see flaws. The color, Silverado Sage, looks a tad more blue in my space but given the right light it’s the most beautiful sage color. Not too light and not too dark. I’d buy this paint again for future furniture projects.

It's great

It was self-leveling and great coverage. Loved the color. We painted a bed frame and self that we had made years ago and it turned out great.

Don’t buy

This has been so disappointing. The color looks different than the sample, I’ve needed at least three coats on top of the primer.

Sticky paint.

I used Zinsser primer and sanded a small bookcase before painting with this product. It peels off easily and just doesn't dry down. The surface still feels sticky. I purchased another quart of paint from Valspar that I had tinted with the same color from Magnolia and its a huge difference in paint quality. Lovely colo but not worth it, the bad paint quality forced me to but it a lot more effort into the paint project than expected.

Used this paint, then tried a R_______m chalk paint, and went back with this paint. I like the flowability of it better, and a nice smotth finish.

I like this paint so much that its all I use for painting furniture. Leaves a smooth finish and its nice to apply, flows better than some.

Fantastic coverage!

This cabinet paint covered beautifully! I used a foam roller and used two coats of paint. It turned out great!
