No Color Added

Ordered my exterior stain as I have many times previous at multiple stores. However, this time in Rocky Mount they failed horribly. I order it along with a few pieces of wood so that I could pick it up and save time. When I got home, which is 30 minute drive, found out the stain was not mixed with color. Someone just grabbed the base can and filled the order. Poor attention to detail and poor oversight by managers. Had to drive back to store, get the stain mixed, then drive back home. Big...

The prouduct color was matched perfectly and the ease of applying the stain.

Perfect Consistency

The stain is a perfect consistency. It applied evenly and covered the outdoor wood table nicely in the first application. There were a lot of color choices for the stain which is an added plus. I highly recommend this stain.

Mission Brown is red, not brown.

The photo on the website shows a brown color..Mission Brown is red. It covers well, unfortunately, because we are stuck with a red deck.

Wrong Delivery

I ordered 5 1 gallon cabot oak brown semi solid stain and the delivery is not oak brown and I need to drive and have it replaced to lowes n. durham as i need the paint. No compensation for the gas and the inconvenience lowe's incorrect delivery caused me. I spoked to the operation manager of the lowes store and told me to call GIG as they are responsible for the wrong delivery but as per GIG they only deliver what lowes give them. No accountability from lowes. Very dissapointing.

I ordered green stain but was sent untainted neutral base. Now, besides not being able to get my work done, I have a return to deal with and the need to order from a reliable merchant.

You have a numbering problem

My recent order included five cans of Cabot Cordovan Leather Stain. What ended up being picked was item #579311, and that showed as being correct when I returned the cans for the right ones. ( I only found the error when I opened a can to start staining.) It turns out that if I search that number on your website, it shows ALL the colors, when that number should just be for the base.
