Would RecommendWhen brushing on with just enough to wet the surface while staining a fence we have only been able to stretch a gallon of the Oil Based Semi-Solid Stain to about 125 Sq Ft which is not anywhere close to the advertised 400 Sq Ft Minimum Coverage. Color is great however coverage is not so great. We have a little less than 1,200 sq ft of fence to cover so we bought 4 gallons to have 1,600 sq ft of stain available however at this rate of coverage we're going to need about 6 more gallons ($330) of...

Best stain availablein state banning oil-base.
Would RecommendI like the color selection, and it is best thing compared to older oil-based stain, whichnis so much better than acrylic or latex based "stains" which has been banned in states like CT. You will need mineral spirts and/or acetone for clean-up... ignore the warm soapy water on the label.

Color did not match swatch
Stain applied great, only had to do one coat. However, the Oak Brown color we selected looked very red. It was not at all what we were expecting based on the sample color in the booklet. Disappointed that it was not what we wanted.

Terrible Stain !!
Would Not RecommendThis is not even close to the color in the brochure! I wasted my time and money because Lowe’s in North Augusta, SC does not offer the smaller sample sizes for sell. So I had to pay $60.00 dollars for a gallon of the ugliest stain I’ve ever seen. This really upsets me and makes me want to take my business elsewhere.
