Watered down garbage

Valspar is selling snake oil. This is the worse paint on the market. Valspar has intentionally watered it down to increase their profits. This crap takes about 4 coats to get it to look decent, but it will never look good. I had to paint over this trash with sherwin Williams, a much more superior and cheaper product. Lowe’s wouldn’t even return it for me so valspar ripped me off $55 dollars for trash. Lowe’s and valspar should be ashamed and this product should be pulled off the shelves. DO NOT ...

RESERVE is Durable Paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can truly vouch for Valspar RESERVE as being the #1 Best paint to stand up to your Toughest abuse! I moved into a rented home that had literally been boarded up for about a decade. It had unfinished concrete floors, covered in dried up mouse urine, mouse droppings, dead bugs, and dirt. I scrubbed the floors multiple times with bleach water, rinsed well, and dried well. I first painted the floors with primer, using a roller on my broom handle....

False advertisement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On Wednesday 6/13/24 I bought Valspar Reserve paint, it was put on the next day, it said One Coat, PLEASE STOP LYING TO THE customer because it takes more than one coat,change that to say it may take more than one coat, it's too expensive.

Not worth the price

Painted a room

Sold a bit of goods

Was told by the paint employee that this would one take one coat. Not so. I have to go ge5 another can to finish and touch up.Valspar is not what they say they are. Paint is crap.taking me too long to finish my daughter’s room. I don’t think I will be buying paint from Lowe’s again nor Valspar.

Worst Paint I've Ever Used

This paint was a complete waste of $50. I bought KC Chiefs red to cover a light golden color and even after two coats, the original color is still showing through. I'm going to need at least one more coat, possibly two for full coverage. And please spare me the generic reply on how to paint a room in 3 foot sections. Love the Finish

Chalky when touched

Never lets me down…

If you are not happy with this product (Reserve) then you probably shouldn’t be painting at all. This paint especially in flat makes ok painters better and experienced ones know if they have tried it. The only downside for the working professional is that it’s pricey compared to production paint lines.

Very little spatter.

Spreads easily but using a Purdy 1/2 inch nap roller my dark green required a second coat over the original yellow color.

Definitely not a one coat paint. The coverage is terrible and worse is the smell. I am concerned now about the fumes and based on other reviews it sounds like it may not subside. I have used other brands such as Behr and have never had such a toxic odor the next day after painting. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Can anyone assist with the odor remediation? Do I need to paint over with a primer now?

This is the best color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this paint, and I bought the color iron frost, I love it so much that I have painted my entire home, variations of this paint. I painted my hallways this color, then I had them mix lighter and darker colors to make different variations so I was able to use this color as a color scheme and it’s amazing. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
