I am repainting my whole house and love how easy this Valspar Reserve is to use. Coverage is great!

Great coverage and colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that Valspar has so many great colors and superb coverage. Two coats and done. Sunday Sky is beautiful and serene. More importantly it made my blue-green "marine blue" stained cabinets coordinate with my fantasy marble "gray with purple tones" (that do not match at all) somehow the magic of this color makes them coordinate flawlessly. I'm painting my master bedroom 14x16 and it's taking me 5 gallons because this is not a one coat coverage extremely poor quality, I love the signature series and I usually always use that but now I don't even know if I will continue with Valspar because of the money I've wasted on 1 ROOM.. the wife chise RESERVE expecting too quality, im into residential remodeling and have painted 1000s of rooms but the WIFEY.... but it's not her fault wanting the best product....

Beautiful!

The coverage of this paint on the wall that had been painted wrong was corrected and it looked soo beautiful. I was completely excited about the turn out of the whole house. Going forward- will only purchase this brand for any and all of my upcoming projects.

No way one coat

Meh, it’s def not a one coat paint. Switched from super light while with a tone of blue to white. It barely covers it….. Behr is truly better option for one coat. I now have to find another day to paint the second coat. The first coat just doesn’t do it. Disappointed to say at least.

Not one coat paint

I have applied two coats of paint and still need about 2-3 more coats. “One coat guaranteed” Is false advertisement.

Reserve is nothing special

It was easy to apply but required two to three coats to cover. The new color was much darker so I thought it should have covered in coat. For the price I was disappointed. I say go lower end than the reserve and save $20 since I had to do 3 coats…

Paint

Repainted my home I bought before moving my furniture in. All colors I used were perfect. No matter if a paint says 1 coat coverage you should do 2. I will say the 1st coat did cover 95% off the bat and obviously the 2nd finished. Clean up is easy even when small drips have dried on laminate and hardwood floors. Walls were dry to the touch in just over an hr and ready to be repainted.

Great color and quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently bought paint for a new home. I love the color options that valspar has, by far more then other products. My only complaint is that there is a one coat guarantee and it took 2 coats to paint everything. I do not mind if I need 2 coats, but I just wish I wasn't expecting it to be done with just one.

Best Interior Wall Paint

Not Semigloss, Poor Cvrg

Signature. Good color. Poor coverage, no sheen. We specifically wanted semigloss. What we ended up with is not smooth, no sheen. When my husband bumped the flat paint ceiling there should be a noticeable shiny spot, comparatively. None. If this means we have to do multiple coats, then they lied to us. We are applying over quality primer. Will come back and update when the project is completed.

Good coverage

Marks with any touch!

Love how it looks but can't touch it! Streaks with any touch and no amount of washing will make it go away. Very frustrating!

Great coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Reserve interior paint and primer for my kitchen which has textured walls. Not quite one coat coverage but that’s not the paint, it’s my technique. Lovely even color.

It sucks. Don’t use it.
