Not impressed

This is my first time using Valspar paint. It took two gallons to paint my 120sf bedroom (I painted the ceilings the same color) and three coats to fully cover a lighter color underneath. Despite over three weeks cure time and three coats, the paint can easily be scratched off with a fingernail. Disappointed.

Don't buy this product. 7 days curing time and even after that, you can take you fingernail run it down the wall and the paint comes right off, I wanted eggshell but was given matt instead. It is not matt, it is a semi gloss paint and feels like rubber. Clerk at store told me that can happen with cheap paint. Will, now have painted my kitchen 3 times. Safe for families

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved that I could use this in a bedroom knowing that it's free of VOC -- odor of paint while drying seems much less that with ordinary paints, and coverage was still good. We weren't changing the color very much, but it seemed to be complete coverage and the eggshell finish does a good job of hiding some minor wall imperfections. Big improvement in the room!

Fresh and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been waiting for the weather to cooperate to bring some fresh colors into our home and valspar paint offers just that with a variety of color palettes. Its way to use on most indoor walls and ceilings and it definitely gives the home a beautiful fresh look! The paint is premixed (we choose sunshine yellow) and the gallon has just enough for great coverage on a standard room.

Great coverup paint

This paint was a little thick and didn’t show too much brush stokes while applying. My daughters walls had some stains and this paint did cover them up a bit. So happy with the variety of colors to pick from also.

Great Product!

The paint went on smooth without streaks or brush marks. It has great coverage and went on nice and thick. So excited to find a paint that is great quality!

Worked well for my use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this paint to freshen up my daughter's trim in their room when I decided to redecorate it. I used a semi gloss white over a old white. For the most part it covered well but I did decide to do 2 coats due to seeing brush strokes after the 1st coat. It was a little thinner than other valspar paint I've used before.

It made my job easy and painted the walls in very less time than I expected. Many colors are available in this. It covered all the stains in my kitchen area and living room. I feel so refreshed, clean and comfortable now. The color looks amazing now.

High-hide.... Hides what??

This stuff is awful. It's thin and covers absolutely nothing. It wasn't even a dark color that was being painted over, just a light grey, but it took four coats! It needed five, but I was too tired and sore and annoyed to keep going. It costs way too much to be so terrible. Never buying this type again.

Great Paint

Nice paint

I was pleasantly surprised at the coverage it provided, but it took two coats to adequately cover my walls. I have gotten used to the thickness of the paint with primer, but this wasn’t too thin to splatter everywhere. For the price, I would buy this again!
