Would Not RecommendSome have described Zeus as heartless for his punishment of Sisyphus, but no. The eternal strain of carrying a boulder up a hill shows mercy. Had Zeus truly wished to break the man’s spirit he would have sentenced him to paint a bedroom one shade lighter with Valspar paint.
