Sta Green Flower and Vegetable Garden Soil + Fertilizer

Water runs straight through, mix with any composted material and it might help. I have used sta green and would never ever use it again. Other than to control water flow you can use it straight by itself, though a different brand would be recommended.

I started with this soil last year and then this year I added compost to give it a boost.
Was this Answer Helpful ?The Sta Green is a good choice. After 45 years of raising vegetables to feed my family I find a mixture of mushroom compost, about 20 per cent, and for your beds 50 pounds of a good quality cow manure along with 3 pound bag of 4-3-4 organic fertilizer works great. Of course mix everything well. I cover my beds with a good weed barrier which comes in three foot withes and cut X's then place my plants inside the X, and watch them go. For seed planting leave the control barrier off. This always works for me. Good luck!
