What Customers Are Saying
The garden soil provides mixed results. Some customers report it is a good, affordable option that helps plants thrive, while others describe it as more like mulch or wood chips that does not hold moisture well or support healthy growth. The quality and performance appear inconsistent, so customers should inspect the soil before purchase and be prepared to amend it if needed.

everyone complaining about this soil. in the blueberry world I have had major problems in local pcb fl with finding acidic soil cost effective. this soil is a happy stuble apon if your trying to grow blueberrys. they love the ground pine bark and nasty soil. happy hunting everyone.
Damaged plants
I put this around my hibiscus and coreopsis. All the blooms died on the coreopsis and haven't come back. The hibiscus bot started having leaves fall off and the older one had 3 shoots die. Don't use this on anything living.

Her roses are blooming again!
Her roses are blooming again! She had them in pots, and per my spouse's request, I used a wore out wheelbarrow, with holes in the bed..loaded with rock, then sand than about 1 bag of this stuff, which was cheap. Bingo. She has roses growing.
Planting Soil/compost
Seems to be a good quality planting soil/compost with a fertilizer. Needs to be mixed with a bag of topsoil.
