Can this be used to patch in ground pools?

Portland cement alone should not be used for patching pools. QUIKWALL® Surface Bonding Cement – White with QUIKRETE® Concrete Acrylic Fortifier (No. 8610) replacing a portion of the mixing water content per instructions may be applied at 1/8 to 1/4 inch coating over the walls of a concrete swimming pool. A minimum of two coats at least 1/8 inch in thick per coat is typically recommended for swimming pool applications. Be sure to properly clean the surface, make sure the surface is unsealed/uncoated, removing all dirt, dust, oil, unsound material and any other bond breakers. Please note that when making repairs, getting a good color match can be difficult – we always recommend to trial the repair material in a small, inconspicious area first and wait a minimum of 24 hours to ensure that the appearance, including color, is acceptable.
