Suggested base material


Typically the base is comprised of 2 to 4 inches deep of compacted gravel, with 1 to 2 inches of QUIKRETE® Patio Paver Sand or QUIKRETE® All-Purpose Sand spread on top of the gravel. The Walk Maker® may also be placed on flat compacted soil (reference our on-line video at https://www.quikrete.com/athome/video-walkmaker.asp), The use of soil on top of gravel is not recommended.
