What can be used to fill in between the step stones - sand, polymeric sand, grout, etc.?


I used regular sand. It does take at least 6 months for it to get hard enough to act like polymeric sand. Continuous rain packs down the sand. I totally agree about spending all that money on polymeric sand either!
