How many bags of concrete needed for a 4' x 40' walkway?

The instructions call for one 80# or two 60# pound bags to do one 2 ft x 2 ft square. I found that just one 60# bag would fill the form with a little left over. Multiply the number of 2x2 ft squares in your project to get the number of 60# bags of concrete you will need to get.

Was this Answer Helpful ?The QUIKRETE® Walk Maker® is nominally 2 feet x 2 feet (and 2 inches deep), so for a 4 ft x 40 ft walkway, you will need to fill 20 rows of 2 molds / row, for a total of 40 molds. Each mold requires 1 80 lb bag of QUIKRETE® Concrete Mix #110180, Pro Finish QUIKRETE® 5000 Concrete Mix #110785, Pro Finish QUIKRETE® Crack Resistant Concrete Mix #100668, or another 80 lb QUIKRETE® concrete, to fill it, so a total of 40 bags (of 80 lb each) will be required. Yields will vary based upon waste, uneven subgrade, etc.
