I need to add 5/8" to exterior concrete steps. Can I do this at one time or do I need to split it up into two separate days? How long between coats?

We recommend doing a 5/8” thick application in two coats. Before applying second coat, allow the first coat to remain undisturbed until the surface is able to withstand light foot traffic (approximately 1-4 hours depending on concrete porosity, temperature and wind). Gently apply a light mist of water over the first coat before re-coating. The second coat must be applied within 24 hours of the first coat. Otherwise, the pressure washing technique used for preparation for the first coat must also be performed. Exercise caution to avoid washing off the first coat.
