Why does the color turn into a light gray?


Variations in mixing water amount, mixing time, curing conditions, and finishing techniques will cause color variations. Typically, each 10 fl oz bottle of QUIKRETE® Liquid Cement Color will color up to 2 bags (of 60 lb or 80 lb each) of gray base product. More intense colors can be achieved by using additional QUIKRETE® Liquid Cement Color. Do not use more than one bottle per 60 lb bag of product. We strongly recommend trialing small batches to experiment and evaluate the color after at least 24 hours to determine if the color is acceptable before initiating a full scale project.
