Was this Answer Helpful ?An 80# bag is roughly 0.6 cu ft of product. A 50# bag is 0.375 cu ft of product. So...either a smidgen more that one 80# bag or 1 3/4 bags of 50# will fill a 5-gallon bucket. Four buckets require five 80# bags (with some left over) or seven bags of 50# mix (with virtually no waste).
Was this Answer Helpful ?Based on my limited experience and failing memory, I think it took 1 bag to fill a 5 gallon bucket 2/3 full. I used the bucket of cement to hold a 500 watt spot light on a pole.
