Can this be used for setting 4x4 P.T. deck posts? The footing would be 8" Dia. x 12" Deep.

Was this Answer Helpful ?New Jersey is in the frost belt. As such I would suggest that you set your footing down below the frost level (about 36" but check your codes) to keep the frost from heaving the footings.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Would suggest you don't use short cut method of pouring dry concrete then adding water, it wouldn't be safe for a deck in my opinion. Properly mix concrete then dig appropriate size hole for foundation.
