How many bags do I need for 85 square feet at 1 inch thick to lay over an already aged concrete slab


QUIKRETE® Fast Setting Concrete Mix is not suitable for a 1” overlay. Instead, we recommend Sand (Topping) Mix, which is suitable for depths of ½” to 1-1/2”. For an area of 85 square feet at 1” thick, you will need 7 cubic feet of topping, or 12 bags of 80 pounds each. Yields will vary with waste, uneven subgrade, etc.
