How many bags do I need for a 4x8slab and can I use the fast setting mix for that


The number of bags required will depend on the thickness of the placement. If you are using common 2x4" lumber for forms, you will need 23-1/3 50-pound bags. We generally do not recommend Fast Stting Conccrete Mix for slab work, as it requires considerable skill to mix, place and finish before it sets in 20-40 minutes.
