A 50 lb bag of QUIKRETE® All-Purpose Sand contains approximately 0.5 cubic foot of sand. The approximate number of bags needed to fill each sand bag will depend on the thickness of the bag. For 4 inches of thickness, approximately 1-3/5 bags (of 50 lb each) of QUIKRETE® All-Purpose Sand will be required to fill a 24 inch by 14 inch sand bag. Yields will vary based upon waste, compaction, etc.
