Yes, QUIKRETE Quick-Setting Cement is a good choice for repairing damaged edges of unsealed / uncoated concrete. The application of QUIKRETE Concrete Bonding Adhesive #9902 to the area to be patched will further enhance bonding if the application is greater than 1" in thickness. The use of QUIKRETE Acrylic Fortifier #8610 to replace a portion of the mixing water for QUIKRETE Quick-Setting Cement will enhance the bond of applications less than 1" in thickness. Do not use the Concrete Bonding Adhesive and the Acrylic Concrete Fortifier combined in the same application.
