No, QUIKRETE® Quick-Setting Cement is a rapid setting, repair material. We would recommend using QUIKRETE® Fast Setting Concrete Mix (No. 1004-50) for setting a flag pole. Follow the flag pole manufacturer’s instruction for the depth to which the flag pole should be placed in concrete, and the diameter of the surrounding concrete to ensure stability. Also, ensure that a typical compressive strength of 4000 PSI at 28 days meets the flag pole manufacturer’s strength requirement.
