I have an expoxy floor will it adhere to expoxy or will I need to strip the floor first to cement?


The epoxy coating must be removed for QUIKRETE® Quick Setting Cement to adhere to the substrate. The application area must be sound, clean, unsealed/uncoated, and free of dirt, dust, loose debris, or any other potential bond breakers. Please note that QUIKRETE® Quick Setting Cement is not intended to be used as a coating or over a large area (must be less than 2 square feet). When making repairs, getting a good color match can be difficult – we always recommend trialing the repair material in a small, inconspicuous area first and waiting 24 hours to ensure that the appearance, including color, is acceptable.
