QUIKRETE® Vinyl Concrete Patcher is a standard setting cementitious mortar, so it will have a typical set time of approximately 4 to 6 hours if the temperature is approximately 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix only as much as can be applied in 30 minutes. At higher temperatures, the set time will be somewhat faster, while at cooler temperatures, it will be slower. The product will support foot traffic in one day and allow three days for wheeled traffic. This would be under ideal conditions, including a temperature of approximately 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The colder the temperature, the longer you will need to wait. Although it will be set, or hardened after 4 to 6 hours, it does not yet have significant strength gain at that point. The length of time for freshly placed cementitious mortar to dry will vary and dependent on water content used to mix the concrete, curing temperatures, humidity, weather exposure, etc.
