Before cooking, make a small low heat fire and for a couple hrs. Gradually increase heat over time to a hot cooking heat. Let it burn out and cool.
Was this Answer Helpful ?People have been cooking with clay for centuries. The difference is firebrick retains heat and refracts it back where as clay retains a lower portion.
