Will this work to reattach the metal piece for a rear defroster


Though the Loctite 5 Minute Instant Mix Epoxy will bond to metal but we cannot address the question as proposed. If the defroster you are describing is the heating grid or electrical component it is not possible to know if the epoxy would be suitable for the application. The product is not tested for electrical conductivity. Recommend you seek advice from your automobile service dealer for this repair
