Does this washer drain automatically if a cycle is altered or cancelled?

The LG WT8400CW Top Load Washer is designed with a Forced Drain System, which means if a cycle is altered or canceled, the washer will automatically begin draining any remaining water to prevent it from sitting stagnant inside the tub.
