The descriptions says 6 1/2" rise, does that mean if I had a 2x as a tread that the rise will be 8" total?


The rise will still be 6 1/2" including the 2" tread from the bottom of the step to the top of the next step. There will be a 4.5" space from the top of the 2" tread to the next step.
