Damaged at mill, damaged by loaders of delivery.
List of milling issues from manufacturer. - First, they were milled at 1.80 inch thickness, not 1.75 inch - Second, they were milled at 9.625 in. width, not 9.5 in. - third, they were cut at 17ft, 9in., not 18ft. - fourth, one of the LVL's has a 1/2" cut approximately 6.5 inches long and 5/8" deep.... it looks like a milling end cut, mis cut and they shipped it. Now for the loaders of the delivery trucks at Lowes... Every single LVL was gouged massively by the forklifts while loading. Secti...
2.1E 3100lbs
The beam delivered is a heavy 1/16" wider than 1 3/4" so that means doubled it'll be 3/16" wider than 2"x4" framing. Other than that 0 complaints. Delivery was great.
Damaged goods
Product came damaged as the Lowe’s worker stacked them together to hide the damage. Didn’t discover until i waisted my time brining them home and unwrapping.

I don't remember reading any fine print on this either. Very frustrating...
Could not fulfill
Ordered and waited a month with no update. Tracked it down through multiple customer service calls and the vendor simply didn't have the size lumber they offered here, so they left my order in limbo...
Very good beam
For a long open span, it's excellent. Much stronger and lighter than conventionally sawn timber.
Great LVL
These beams are of good quality. Straight where it counts. Holds up like it should.
