Excellent Butcher block.
Butcher block was almost perfect, i choose the more pleasant side and sealed it. Am in the process of using wipe on poly 4 coats so far, takes too long to dry due the humidity in S. Florida. I am going to proceed with 3 coats of regular poly, should dry faster with a harder and thicker coat. I use 320 sandpaper in between coats.

Delivery praise.
Delivery today was by the book. Driver was plesant and called before hand and placed them exactly were I desired. Pallets were loaded with care and strapped well. Great job. For the one item not delivered the driver called the store then told me it was being brought by box truck.

Beautiful Statement
This is a beautiful piece of wood. As it is wood, there are some insignificant flaws. The largest on my countertop that could not be corrected was 2 millimeters. I ordered 3 counters, packaged with cardboard around the edges and shrink-wrapped over the cardboard and all surfaces. The third party delivery service has been to my house before is always gentle with my purchases.
