Bought new & installed myself 18 years ago. Home is now a rental & still going strong. Never a service call quiet and ez to clean - a bit pricy but never had a problem. Am buying another one for another rental now.

Amazingly great exhaust fan
Installed a month ago. I have lung issues and this fan saved me from leaving the room when frying a steak or other smoke generating foods. In addition, it is easy to clean. I use to dread cleaning my previous hood because it was difficult to remove the residue cups and fan drip system. Hurt my neck everytime. I didn’t know what I was missing until this new Typhoon fan was installed. Thank you!

I love our new range hood!
We've had the hood for over 3 months now, and I still love it. It is very quiet and easy to use. And I particularly love the curved look - very chic!

Excellent product
I bought my first Zephyr Typhoon Range Hood 17 years ago and was very happy with it. It would probably still be working if I hadn’t put 50 Watt LED bulbs in the sockets. This Range Hood fit perfectly under my custom made cabinet which was the original reason I bought it. It worked so well I was delighted I could replace it with almost the same model.

Quiet and powerful
This is a great range hood. In “Q” mode, it is extremely quiet. Using a sound measurement app on my phone, which is uncalibrated and likely only meaningful for relative measurements, it measures over 12db quieter than my previous OTR microwave’s ventilation at the respective lowest settings. Level 3 (390cfm) is equivalent to my old setup’s highest speed, and it is still several decibels quieter. I haven’t found a need to go beyond level 3, but it is nice to have higher speeds in reserve. A fabulous Hood
I bought this hood about a week ago. I had a microwave above our stove which finally kicked the bucket. When I went to replace it I found out that I could not get a size to fit in the area above my stove, so I decided to look for a hood. I finally fell in love with this hood. It was perfect, small, easy instructions and was told it would do the job. It really does the Job. I LOVE IT. I knew it would be great as soon as I saw it on display.
