When turned off, the heat is instantly off. No waiting for the elements to cool down like an electric cooktop where it keeps cooking. You don't have to remove pots or pans from the cooktop to avoid over cooking or burning.

The smallest drop of water near the controls shuts the whole cooktop off and the surface needs to be completely dry before it works again. If you wipe it with a towel and it's still damp, no go. Also, the controls are 1-9 and the difference between settings is too large. At 4 your pancakes don't cook if you leave it at 5 they burn. We never cook anything p...

Induction for life
