Rudbeckia fulgida Goldstrum is a Missouri native which is also known by the common name of Black-eyed Susan or Coneflower. It is easily grown in average soils. It is free-blooming and features daisy-like flowers with yellow and brownish centers. Prolific bloomer from mid-summer into fall. Goldstrum is one of the most popular perennials commercially grown. Won the 1999 Perennial Plant of the Year Award. Mass in bold drifts in the perennial border, cottage garden and/or naturalized areas.
