Bought this to use as a top over An MDF top I put on a potting table I made. The MDF is strong, but I knew it wouldn't hold up well with wet potting soil sitting on it. I put this over it using construction adhesive to hold it down, sealed the edges with caulk and put on a couple coats of poly. Turned out great! The [;ywood was solid throughout including all edges.
