Our best-in-class offering brings the whole package-superior durability, luxurious looks and decades of splinter-free fun. Thanks to our high-performance shell technology, you can rest assured that a Transcend deck will maintain its beauty for decades with only minimal upkeep. The island-inspired streaking of our Transcend tropical decking line mimics the one-of-a-kind beauty of hardwood without any of the hassle. And, as with all Trex products, Transcend is protected by industry-leading warranty coverage.

Trex composite decking is a durable, beautiful and eco-friendly alternative to traditional wood
A pale taupe brown Trex decking color
Made of quality composite for durability; won’t rot, warp or splinter
Quality low-maintenance material; cleans easily with soap and water
Backed by a 50-year Limited Residential and Fade & Stain Warranty
Solid profile for unlimited design possibilities; sturdy enough to handle curves
Protective outer shell resists fading, stains and scratches; no sanding or painting required
Use grooved-edge boards and Trex hidden fasteners for a screw-free surface or square-edge boards for traditional decking applications, edging and stairs
Please note that the darker the color, the hotter the deck will feel in the sun and for hotter climates, consumers should consider choosing a lighter color or an option with heat-mitigating technology

What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the durability, appearance, and low maintenance of this composite decking. Most highlight the natural wood-grain look and rich colors that hold up beautifully over years of use, with many reporting decks still looking new after five or more years. Reviewers consistently note resistance to fading, warping, and rot compared to traditional wood. The hidden fastener system and grooved edges are commended for clean installation and even spacing. Some mention minor issues like board dimension inconsistency, occasional warping at edges, or slipperiness when wet, but most find these manageable. Overall, customers consider the investment worthwhile for long-term performance and aesthetics.

I would buy again

Would Recommend

Boards are nice looking and not slippery like some of the synthetic decking. I got the tiki torch for my dock. It can be really hot in the summer if there is no wind, we just got an indoor outdoor carpet runner its fine. Make sure you use tape on top of the joists before you put the deck down, this stuff is plastic and it holds in moisture against the wood, we've seen rot in treated boards in 5 years without tape.

Wrong Trex Board Shipped

Ordered a 16' Trex Tiki Torch board, but the wrong color was shipped with the rest of my order. Somehow received a 16' Trex Lava Rock board, vice what was actually ordered. Not sure how this happens.
